Our story
We are a housekeeping team in Ellerslie, cleaning apartments, family homes, and small offices by appointment.
Fairlight Housekeeping is a working cleaning company in Auckland. We dust, vacuum, mop, and reset kitchens and bathrooms, and we list what each visit includes before you book. The studio on Wilkinson Road is where we store supplies, plan rounds, and take calls during opening hours. Recurring clients keep a written room list; one-off visits are quoted from the rooms, the access notes, and the extra tasks you want done that day.
Why we started the studio
Plenty of cleaning ads shout first and explain later. We start with the property in front of us: size, rooms, pets, and whether you want a regular tidy or a longer deep clean. That keeps the quoted window honest and stops a two-hour visit from being stretched across a whole house that needed a full day.
You get a time window, a listed room plan, and the keys or fob returned as arranged when the job is finished. If a cupboard is locked or a room is in use, we skip it, note it, and do not charge for work we could not reach. The same approach applies to small offices: we follow the path you set through desks, kitchens, and bathrooms, then leave a short visit note after the first evening.
How the team works
- Listed rooms first. Each visit names the kitchens, bathrooms, floors, and extras we will do in your home or office, so the window matches the work rather than a vague “whole house” promise.
- Clear windows and rates. Opening hours, typical visit length, and the card rate are shown before you book, and we confirm extras such as ovens or inside windows before they are added.
- The property on the round. Apartments, family homes, and small offices are cleaned at the address you book, not sent to another contractor without telling you.
- No surprise extras. Oven interiors, fridge shelves, garages, and after-hours office work are optional. We ask before we add them to the visit card.
